Bottle Watch reports on the newest wines, spirits, beers and other alcoholic beverages entering the marketplace.
It's not meant to provide any expert analysis on taste, or recommendation, but simply a report of what's new on the market.
If anything, I'd like the readers of this blog to post comments on what they think about these new products, either taste, packaging, concept, or whatever strikes you.
News SourcesMuch of the products featured on this blog comes to me from a variety of sources, including websites that I've bookmarked and revisit frequently, online trade journals, subscription-based trade journals, press releases, and electronic product reports.
For a few products, I don't have a URL to give you. If a URL is not already available to me, I do a search on Google to find it, and if I still can't find it, then I simply don't provide one.
About SteveWhile I don't consider myself an afficionado of liquor, I'm probably representative of the typical American drinker. I pretty much drink only occasionally, and mainly beer, mixed drinks, and shots of hard stuff. I don't really drink much wine.
Southern California is where I come from, though technically I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. I studied music composition at Santa Ana College, Santa Ana, CA. If anything, I'm a computer geek in denial (I try not to look or act like one).
I'd rather eat a burger and wash it down with a glass of Coke on ice. I do drink beer however, but usually only when going out, or with friends. My everyday beer brand is
Pacifico Clara, otherwise I'm more into trying stuff I've never had before.
Sometimes I like to sit down at a table with a buddy, drink down some really smooth tequila, and figure out what the heck is life is all about.
