Ricochet Alcoholic Energy DrinkRicochet is a new alcoholic energy drink produced by Albertsons grocery stores.

The citrus-flavored beverage, with 6 percent alcohol by volume, combines Siberian ginseng, guarana, and caffeine, to produce an energized drunken stupor. Albertson's is the first retailer to market its own private labeled alcoholic energy drink.

Packaged in a sleek, eye-catching red and gold, 8.4 fl. oz slim-line can, Ricohet is available exclusively at over 2,000 licensed Albertsons and Albertsons banner stores (Jewel-Osco, Sav-on drugs, Osco Drug, Shaw's and Express Stores) across the country this month.

    Yes, that's exactly what I want an "Energized drunken Stupor". I want to be Wide Awake as I drunkenly hit that parked car. "Officer dude, I was like, wide awake because my beer has Caffeine in it, so, like, it ain't my fault."

    Actually I take it back. Buy lots of these. Keep them as souvenirs. And when the marketers wake up from their "Drunken Stupor" and realise what they did, they'll pull them off the shelves, and you'll have the only proof of this craziness. I did the same thing with "Caffeine Free" Mountain Dew. I kid you not.

  • I would have to say that this drink is one of the best I have ever tasted. It's got a delightfuly citrus taste... to the point where I can just drink it like a beverage. You drink a couple, and you get a nice buzz, and you feel lively and awake. I drank sparks before this, but I think this one has better results, and tastes a thousand times better. You just have to try one.

  • best of the bunch when it comes to the high test energy drinks.It seems to have more fruit than just sugar, but what is with the price!
    Sparks $1.50 for 16 oz and this stuff is $2.00 for half the amount, 8 oz.Good product, but the price is over the top.

    Gotta say, at 40 cents a can, this would be great without the alcohol, but definately the best tasting energy drink (next to bawls maybe) with the added effect...

  • Hahah so for weekly gatherings we try various alchol this was sitting jewel for 2.00 a pack (4 in a pack) I bought one and the clerk said she has never seen it before.

    Got home it was amazing. Went to all the Jewels today and purchased all thier stock I believe I know have about 20 packs (only paid $40).
    That means I have 80 cans now for amazing parties. Or if I want to get an extra boost.

    If you down 2 really fast you will feel a little something.

  • Great Product, but I think it's toast!! I work in wholesale grocery and it's been disco from albertsons and they are the makers of it. The good news is you can buy it 4 for $1 or a 4 pack for .99 cents. CRAZY PRICE!! I cleaned the shelf! Only while they last so hurry!!!

  • this stuff is great. i have tried alot of these kind of drinks before. sparks has always been my favorete, but ricochet must have a secret ingredent. tried some this weekend at the river, after drinking 3 of them i had sex for at least 40 minutes and was ready to go again with no down time .

  • I had no intention of purchasing a sports drink of any kind;however,the price of twenty cans for a dollar could not be ignored. I have tried it,it has good flavor without the bitter aftertaste;moreover,as an energy boost, nothing compares to JOLT COLA.

  • I bought two cans couple weeks ago from a local Jewel Osco store and they charged me for three cans. It was 2 for a buck so I wasn't that much upset. It tastes pretty good I must say. With alcohol content it prevents you from drinking too much of this stuff which is good. For the kick I think it is very competitively priced. I'll definitely buy some more on my next stop.

  • This stuff is awesome! My local Jewel (Milwaukee, WI) wasn't selling them so I worked a deal and bought the last 110 cans for $.33 each (their cost). They need to advertise this stuff better, none of the clerks even knew what this stuff was and the liquor dept manager didn't even know what it tastes like or even that it had alcohol in it. I mean, come on, you're the liquor dept manager and you don't know that it has alcohol in it? Anyway, I'll be disappointed when I run out of my 110 cans 'cause he ain't gonna sell it anymore.

  • I love this stuff too. Actually bought it thinking in was an energy drink, then realized what it was and left it in the fridge for a couple weeks, Decided i'll try it before i give it away and WOW I got a buzz in half a can. NOW I can't find it anywhere!!! I too crave it.

    My nearest Albertsons was going out of business, liquidating inventory. I tried a case of these because they were extremely cheap, on sale, and DAMN!!! This is the best tasting energy drink ever - plus it contains alcohol! Perfect!

    They were on sale for $0.17 / can so I cleaned out the store (73 cans on my last visit). Now i'm looking for an online store so I can get them shipped to my house. Wish me luck!

  • These were all that and a four pack. I cleaned out every Jewel in the chicagloland area and drank these morning, noon, and night at work, in the car, and everyhwere in between. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE YOU CAN STILL GET THESE?? Help please!!!!
