James Boag's Premium LagerPopular in Australia for several year, James Boag's Premium Lager is now shipping to America.

The flagship brew of Boag's Brewery in Tasmania, James Boag's Premium Lager is offered in bars and restaurants, as well as liquor stores.

It's described as a European-style lager made from the finest pilsner malts. It is fermented at a lower temperature and employs an extended maturation period, resulting in a crisp pale lager.

At 5.0% alcohol by volume, James Boag's Premium Lager is available in 12.68-ounce (375ml) longneck green bottles. It retails between $6.99 and $7.99 for a 6-pack.

  • The only place I've found it is BevMo in California. Not here in Colorado anywhere. I was in Australia for a month and enjoyed this lager!

  • Boag's is the best beer ever. Having spent a year in Australia it annoys me that Foster's plays themselves off to Americans as the Australian beer of choice when in actuality the vast majority of Aussies won't even touch it. Now Boag's on the other hand . . . I know you can get it through Total Wine and Beverage in VA.
