Glenrothes Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky has been released in a 1991 Vintage version. This unique version contains notes of berry fruit, vanilla and butterscotch and contains 43 percent alcohol by volume.

According to the Glenrothes website, Vintage is a set of casks that have been handpicked by the Malt Master from a particular year's distillation and judged to be at the peak of all possible perfection. These are rare. Vintage selections account for little more than 2% of the distillery's production capacity.

Glenrothes Vintage Whisky is available in a 750ml "hand grenade-shaped" glass bottle with a synthetic cork and features "a unique label with specific handwritten tasting notes from that cask." It is priced at $77.99.
